Her appliqued cloth facial features
are long gone. Eyes are a later
embroidery. Skirt, blouse & bonnet

RARE cut out wooden circus and barnyard animals made circa 1920-40's,
apparently to be packed 4 per set, along with a coloring book.
Designed by John Martin, nationally known author of an annual children's
book. He called these critters "Johnnie Beasties"! Artwork shown on right is
a photo of the
original drawing by John Martin.
Multiples of each animal available (lion with & without napkin ring, pig with
napkin ring, camel & elephant). These were found unfinished in a drawer
from the Bird Haven workshop building. Most would have had small wheels
to hold them upright and roll them.  All approximately 5" x 5" (some larger)
Dimensions are 'abouts' & depths of each varies.    $20 each
